Our Spark Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment is most commonly used to create angled holes, or creating trenches on any type of surface in preparation for the instrumentation for embedded thermocouples and exit holes. Our machines are capable of bespoke requirements, creating complicated shapes on an individual requirement basis.

We offer services for difficult to machine materials including Nickel Based Alloys, Hastelloy, Titanium, Single Crystal Alloys and other exotic materials. Rotadata are experienced in providing Spark EDM machining a contactless machining method which allows the use of complex shapes produced by 3D electrodes designed and produced in house. We can produce small holes (blind and through as small as 0.3mm) and small slots (0.08mm wide).
